Agra

Agra the Old Mughal Capital is home to the Taj Mahal and  the marble palaces of Agra Fort.  Nearby places of interest include the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri; bird sanctuary at Bharatpur; and the fort at Gwalior, which can be visited on a day trip from Delhi.   Something not to be missed during a visit to Agra is the Taj Mahal, one of the world's most famous buildings built in the 16th century.  Sunrise and sunset capture the chaing colours of the monument best, the former also avoids crowds for a more magical experience.
