About Pumba Water Lodge

General description & location
Pumba Water Lodge is located within the Pumba Private Game Reserve in the malaria-free Eastern Cape covering 6000 hectares of land and only one hours drive from Port Elizabeth. This luxurious lodge comprises of 12 stone-walled, thatched, waterfront cottages which open onto a private timber deck overlooking the Kariega Lake where game drink water or splash around. Children are welcome, however children under 8 years of age are not permitted on game drives.

Accommodation
Pumba Water Lodge bedrooms and bathrooms offer under-floor heating, fireplaces, free standing bathtubs, double basins and bathrobes, separate indoor and outdoor showers, plunge pool overlooking the lake, mini bar and tea/coffee facilities. Each cottage offers a private setting with a unique view of Lake Kariega.

Facilities
Pumba Water Lodge offers guests a unique wildlife experience with the Big Five, including free roaming White Lion as well as Wild Dogs, Hyena and Cheetah. Additional activities (by prior arrangemant) while visiting Pumba Game Reserve include Nocturnal Drives, Bush Walks, Archery, Bird Watching, bass Fishing, Stargazing, Spa Treatments with Horseriding and golf nearby.
