Java Overland Escorted Tour followed by a week relaxing on the idyllic island of Bali.

Day 1 - Jakarta

On arrival at Jakarta Airport, meet and greet, then transfer to your hotel in the city.  Rest of the day is at leisure

Day 2 - Jakarta & Bandung

At 08:00 you will leave your hotel for transfer to Bandung.  First stop in Bogor to visit the famous Botanical Gardens which covers an immense 87 hectare of land and houses thousands of plant species.   Continue onto the green tea plantations in Puncak Pass where lunch is provided before proceeding on to Bandung

Day 3 - Bandung & surrounding areas

After breakfast proceed on a tour featuring Tangkuban Crater and Ciater Hot Springs.  Lunch en route.  Return to Bandung with a stop at Lembang fruit market.  Afternoon is spent visiting Pak Ujo's Angklung School in Padasuka Village

Day 4 - Bandung - Baturaden

After breakfast leave for Baturaden, a popular highland retreat on the slope of Mount Slamet.  Tody visit Naga Village, where some ancient Javanese customs are still being practised then oto Cangkuang Temple and the handicraft centre before lunch at Tasikmalaya.  Proceed further to Baturaden via teakwood and rubber plantations

Day 5 - Baturaden - Dieng Plateau - Borobudur - Yogyakarta

After an early breakfast depart for Wonosobo and enjoy a scenic drive as you wind through mountain passes between Mt. Sindoro and Mt. Sumbing on to the famous Dieng Plateau.  Visit some old Javanese Hindu's temple and the colourful lake.  After lunch drive onward to Yogyakarta, enroute stop to visit the famous Borobudur Temple

Day 6 - Yogyakarta

After breakfast the morning is spent exploring Sultans Palace, stroll through the colourful bird market and Taman Sari.  Later move onto Prambanan Temple or known also as 'Slender Maiden', this elegant temple compex was built in the 9th century dedicated to the ultimate worship to the Trinity of Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma.  Return back to the hotel where the afternoon is at your leisure

Day 7

After breakfast check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Bali where you will stay for 8 nights at the Bali Hyatt
