Hong Kong Island

Hong Kong Island is a busy financial and commercial centre.  Known for  its high skyscrapers, the Island has a lot more to offer: shops, bars, headquarters of companies, musuems and sights.  Go to Victoria Peak where you can have astonishing views of Hong Kong and it's surroundings.  One of the nicest beaches, despite its shark warnings, is definitely Repulse Bay on the South side.  For those who want to see a bit more of Hong Kong Island, take a trip to visit Aberdeen.  Other areas on on Hong Kong Island include to the East of Central the Admiralty commercial district; Wan Chai, known for restaurants and clubs and Causeway Bay, a major shopping area.
