Day 1 UK
  • Depart London Heathrow on British Airways for overnight flight to Tokyo

Day 2 Tokyo

  • On arrival private car transfer to hotel
  • Stay at Peninsula Tokyo for three nights in a superior room on a room only basis

Day 3 Tokyo

  • Visit to Meiji Shrine, Harajuku and Omotesando High Fashion Street, Oriental Bazaar and Ginza - Tokyo's most celebrated shopping and amusement area
  • Stay at Peninsula Tokyo

Day 4 Tokyo

  • Visit Edo Tokyo Musuem, Asakusa, traditional Tokyo's downtown, Akihabara Electronics Town and Imperial Palace Plaza
  • Stay at Peninsula Tokyo

Day 5 Tokyo - Hakone

  • Transfer to Hakone
  • Full day Hakone Tour including Lake Ashi, Mt Komagatake Aerial Ropeway ride to Owakudani
  • After sightseeing transfer to Gora Kadan, a traditional-style Japanese Inn that boasts an excellent reputation
  • Relax in your room that provides beautiful mountain views and its own private hot spring bath
  • Stay at Gora Kadan

Day 6 Hakone - Odawara - Kyoto

  • Check out of Gora Kadan and transfer to Odawara Station to take Shinkansen bullet train to Kyoto
  • Upon arrival in Kyoto take a sightseeing tour to include visits to Nijo Castle and Kinkaku-ji Temple - The Golden Pavilion
  • Stay at Tawaraya Ryokan Kyoto

Day 7 Kyoto

  • Full day sightseeing tour to visit Sanju-san-gendo, containing 1001 Buddhist Temples, Kiyomizu Temple, a massive grand structure at the top of the cliff overlooking the streets of Kyoto.  Heian Shrine, commemorate 1100th year anniversary, Ryoanji Temple with most beautiful stone garden and Gion district to shop for antiques and crafts
  • Stay at Hyatt Regency Kyoto

Day 8 Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto

  • Transfer to Nara and visit Todaji Temple which houses one of the largest bronze statues in the world, Kasuga Shrine and Nara Park
  • Return back to Kyoto and spend rest of day at leisure
  • Stay at Hyatt Regency Kyoto

Day 9 Kyoto - Osaka - Hiroshima

  • Transfer to Osaka and visit Osaka Castle and Shitenno-ji Temple
  • Board a Shinkansen bullet train from Shin-Osaka Station and continue to Hiroshima (about 1.5 hours)
  • Upon arrival check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure
  • Stay at Rihga Royal Hiroshima

Day 10 Hiroshima

  • Full day tour of Hiroshima including the Atomic Bomb Domb, Peace Memorial Park and Peace Memorial Museum
    Transfer to the western part of Hiroshima and board a ferry to Miyajima, home of the Itsukushima Shrine, famous for its flowating Torii Gate and designated as a World Heritage Centre in 1996
  • Stay at Rihga Royal Hiroshima

Day 11 Hiroshima - Tokyo

  • Transfer to Tokyo International Airport
  • Flight from Tokyo Airport to Heathrow on British Airways
