Day 1 UK
- Depart London Heathrow on Etihad Airways for flight to Tokyo via Abu Dhabi
Day 2 Tokyo
- On arrival coach transfer to hotel
- Stay at Keio Plaza Hotel for two nights on a room only basis
Day 3 Tokyo
- Half day sightseeing tour to include the following sights:
- Tokyo Tower Observatory - Tokyo Tower claims the title of the worlds highest self supporting structures at 333m. From the observation deck you can see Ginza, Tokyo Bay, Yokohama and even Mt Fuji on a clear day
- National Diet Building - Japans central government building, a well known Tokyo landmark
- Imperial Palace Plaza - is the area surrounding the Imperial Palace
- Asakusa - Famous for its Asakusa Kannon Temple & Nakamise shopping street which is one of the oldest shopping districts in Japan
- Stay at Keio Plaza Hotel
Day 4 Tokyo - Mt Fuji - Hakone - Kyoto
- Coach transfer from hotel to Mt Fuji
- Mt Fuji - the highest and most popular mountain in Japan rising 3776m above sea level. The coach will take you to the 5th station of Mt Fuji before crossing Ashinoko Lake on the Hakone Ropeway. With its highest point at 1000m above sea level the tramway offers great views of Mt Fuji
- Cruise on Lake Ashi - is a typical caldera lake which is formed between the outer and inner ridge of a volcano
- Continue by coach and train to Kyoto
- Tour includes Japanese style lunch
- Stay at the New Miyako Hotel on a room only basis
Day 5 Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto
- Full day sightseeing tour to Nara to include the following sights:
- Nijo Castle - built in 1603 as the Kyoto residence for Tokugawa Ieyasu. the first shogun of the Edo era. The castles main court was burnt down in 1788 so only the second court is left untouched as it was built. The castle currently houses many cultural treasures
- Kinkakuji Temple - The Golden Pavilion, a famous Muromachi era building located at the foot of Kinugasa Hill
Kyoto Imperial Palace - renowned for its elegant simplicity, served as the official Emperors palace until the countries capital moved to Tokyo in 1867 - Todaiji Temple - completed in 752and houses on of the largest bronze statues in the world/ The Great Buddha is recognised as a National Treasure and is made of 437 tons of bronze, 75kg of mercury and 130kg of pure gold
- Nara Park - known as Deer Park because of the many deers which roam freely. The park is a natural woodland and features various tree species including the Japanese Cedar, Wisteria, Japanese andromeda and Japanese Yew Trees
- Kasuga Taisha Shrine - in lush surroundings which create a soothing atmosphere of peace and holiness unmatched by any other shrine. Walking in from the east the path is lined with 3000 lanterns that lead into the spacious temple
- Tour includes buffet lunch
- Stay at the New Miyako Hotel
Day 6 Kyoto - Tokyo
- Day free at leisure until coach and train transfer back to Tokyo
- Stay at Keio Plaza Hotel for one night on a room only basis
Day 7 Tokyo - UK
- transfer to Tokyo Airport for return flight to Heathrow via Abu Dhabi on Etihad Airways
