Tokyo’s traditional seasonal weather sees favourable conditions for most of the year, with fairly high daytime temperatures even through the winter months. Temperatures soar in the summer, and the rainy season of June and the typhoon season of September bring abundant rainfall and a humid, muggy atmosphere. The best time to visit Tokyo is in autumn, from late September to November, when days are pleasant and skies are clear. The climate of Hong Kong is sub-tropical, with temperatures reaching above 30°C in summer but dropping below 10°C in winter. The coolest months are mid-December through February, when conditions are mainly cloudy and cold but dry. During the months of March through May temperatures and rainfall increase dramatically, and there is little sunshine. The months of June to mid-September see the highest temperatures and rainfall, so conditions are incredibly humid. Perhaps the best time to visit would be in autumn, between mid-September and December, when temperatures are moderate, skies are clear and the sun shines. Given Bali's proximity to the equator, the island's weather is reliably hot and sunny. There are two distinct seasons: the dry season lasts between May and September and the wet season runs from October to April. Even in the wet season it is likely to be sunny for a good part of the day, and the rainfall is never too high. The best time to visit Bali is between May and September, when temperatures are hot and the days are at their longest.
