Your seven day Sarawak exploration will begin in capital city Kuching. This stylish city fuses different cultures, providing a diverse environment which is perfect for leisurely wandering. Take a walk in the picturesque riverfront park to take in some fabulous views. A river cruise will see you search for the unusual Irrawaddy Dolphin as well as crocodiles along the banks of the mangrove forest. Trips to the Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre and the Bako National Park will uncover yet more curious species, including the distinctive proboscis monkey. The tour also includes a Longhouse Safari, where you will visit a traditional Iban longhouse and learn about the tribes' culture and heritage.
Arrive at Kuching Airport and transfer to hotel for check-in.
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a 45-minute drive to the beach of the Damai Peninsula.
Journey to the Longhouse Safari, passing through rural villages and rubber plantations.
Board a longboat and journey through the lake and crystal streams to visit an Iban longhouse.
Return to Kuching via Ranchang Waterfall.
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for an excursion by land and by boat to Bako National Park.
