"This eight day tour pairs Java's fascinating culture and natural beauty with a luxury desert island experience."

Your Javanese experience begins in impressive fashion, as you take a trip to the stunning Hindu temple site of Prambanan. This 9th and 10th century complex comprises over 500 monuments, centring around three towering temples. Following a day's stay in Yogyakarta you will head west to Borobudur - a breathtaking Buddhist temple distinctive for its 72 stupas, each containing a Buddha figure. The layout of the temple represents the spiritual journey from life to Nirvana. The second half of your tour will take place on Java's offshore islands; first up is the Karimunjawa Archipelago - a beautiful National Marine Park. A stay at the luxury resort of Kura Kura is followed by a 'castaway' experience on the pristine desert island of Krakal, where you can truly get away from it all.
