"The spacious villas located in the Ayung valley are the ideal place to relax in a tropical paradise."
The Samaya Ubud was designed as an extension of the Samaya Seminyak, where guests can experience the unique delivery of Balinese hospitality in another superb location set alongside the River Ayung.
Guests can encounter the artistic and cultural heart of the island, walk the infamous terraced rice fields and retreat to the peace and tranquility of the Samaya Ubud. The hotel is a 15 minute drive from central Ubud and a 75 minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport.
The opulently furnished one and two bedroom villas have plush bedroom, spacious bathrooms and private swimming pools. Some units are on top of the hill while others are on the riverside. The Hill View, Hill Side and Ayung Villas are spacious, and share splendid views overlooking the Ayung valley, making them ideal tropical retreats for intimacy and relaxation.
The Samaya Ubud features leisure facilities like spa pool, spa centre, gym and wine cellar. The property also arranges activities like excursions, biking and nature walks. The hotel can accommodate weddings with its beautiful setting, event spaces and banquet facilities. Eating should always be fun and a little adventurous; the diversity of food is always something to be celebrated. There are no substitutes for quality, freshness or flavour. Ingredients should be focused strongly on local organic produce and this produce should be treated with the utmost respect, from the providores to the dining table. Service should always be personal, welcoming, attentive and warm. The Samaya Ubud's desire is to create true culinary adventures and ever lasting memories. The dishes created at The Samaya are best enjoyed in great company. Take time to graze: enjoy the experience.
Given Bali's proximity to the equator, the island's weather is reliably hot and sunny. There are two distinct seasons: the dry season lasts between May and September and the wet season runs from October to April. Even in the wet season it is likely to be sunny for a good part of the day, and the rainfall is never too high. The best time to visit Bali is between May and September, when temperatures are hot and the days are at their longest.
