Weather

The weather in Phi Phi is defined by its two seasons - the high season when it is dry and hot and the low season when it is more humid and there is a great chance of rain. The high season lasts from November to April, and days are generally long and hot, with the odd westerly wind. The rainy low season begins in May and runs through until around October. Monsoons take place during the months of June and September, but weather conditions can generally improve in a short window across July and August. If you can plan your visit during this window, you will be rewarded with fantastic weather and lower hotel rates.
