Accommodation

Constructed in traditional style from locally sourced, sustainable materials, accommodation artfully embraces ideals of privacy, luxury and comfort. In perfect harmony with nature, residences seem almost a part of the landscape. Rustic and minimalist, their lofty thatched roofs, immaculate teak furniture and tastefully discreet technological amenities lend the properties an exotic, holistic atmosphere, making each an inviting and restful sanctuary. A choice between beachfront or overwater hideaways poses a difficult dilemma. Beach Villas face the shimmering ocean, and have direct access to the shore. For superb views head upstairs, where panoramic treetop level decks with dining areas capture refreshing breezes and amazing sunsets. Screened by lush tropical vegetation, outdoor spaces are a real feature, benefitting from secluded, sun-drenched garden areas with daybeds and strategically placed sun loungers. Experience true tranquillity in the open-air branch-encircled shower or outdoor bathtub. Suspended above the lagoon, Water Villas have been specifically designed to showcase some of the best views on the island. Enjoy idyllic vistas from the comfort of a sun lounger, overwater glass bathtub or through the glass bottom dining table on the outside deck. With the sea on your doorstep, it's effortless to immerse yourself perfectly in the island's pristine marine environment. Jump in for a swim or snorkel around the lagoon before returning to sunbathe on an overwater netting hammock.

Six Senses Laamu's passion for delicious, healthy food becomes immediately apparent. Bars and restaurants transform specially selected, locally sourced organic produce into delicious international favourites or exotic dishes which transport diners to Japan, Vietnam or the Mediterranean. Their overwater amenities are the largest in the Maldives, offering plenty of chances to relax over dinner with sweeping horizon views. Visit the Ice & Chocolate Studio during the day for a tempting array of over 40 flavours of complimentary ice cream and sorbet, and a chocolatier serving truffles, mint mojitos and green tea. Gather twice per week on the beach for a mouth-watering lobster and seafood barbeque, or alternatively choose from a wide variety of Mediterranean, Asian and local dishes to enjoy in the privacy of your own villa.

Residents can organise enhanced private dining experiences through their Guest Experience Makers. Whether it's candlelit dinners on the beach, romantic sunset cocktails on a deserted sandbank or Mediterranean feasts in the heart of a lush organic garden, no request is too much.
