"Sophisticated Saigon, now Ho Chi Minh City, is a melting pot of European and Asian culture and possesses a unique and charming vibe."

A city steeped in history, Saigon is full of relics that serve as reminders of Vietnam's war-torn past. These poignant artefacts may invoke some strong feelings, but history lovers will be in their element. Ancient landmarks are quickly being surrounded by towering new builds, so one of our guided excursions is a great way to hunt down those highlights.

A great way to get to grips with Saigon is by jumping on a vintage Vespa and travelling like a local. Our Insider's Saigon Tour will take you on a zippy journey through the streets, visiting a whole host of attractions throughout the day. Foodies may want to jump back on the Vespas for our evening street food tour, during which a tour guide will take you to sample some of Saigon's tastiest street eats. You could then attempt to recreate some of the gastronomic wonders by signing up for a cooking class at Hoa Tuc Restaurant, where you will learn how to produce a three course Vietnamese feast.
