Singapore's climate is warm and humid all year round, and so there is no 'best' time to visit the city. Temperatures are generally always high, averaging around 24°C in the mornings and evenings and around 31°C in the daytime. The temperature dips, but only slightly, between November and January when the monsoon season arrives. Kota Kinabalu’s weather is defined by two monsoon seasons. The northeast monsoon from November to March is the cooler of the two and sees less rain. The southwest monsoon is much warmer and wetter. The dry season lasts from January to April, which sees a reduced level of rainfall. April generally receives the warmest temperatures. The climate of Hong Kong is sub-tropical, with temperatures reaching above 30°C in summer but dropping below 10°C in winter. The coolest months are mid-December through February, when conditions are mainly cloudy and cold but dry. During the months of March through May temperatures and rainfall increase dramatically, and there is little sunshine. The months of June to mid-September see the highest temperatures and rainfall, so conditions are incredibly humid. Perhaps the best time to visit would be in autumn, between mid-September and December, when temperatures are moderate, skies are clear and the sun shines.
