6 Days Singapore, Malacca & Kuala Lumpur

Malaysia Tour

Travel up the west coast of Malaysia with this six day tour from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur.

Sandwich the historic town of Malacca between a visit to two powerhouse cities. Start your adventure in shiny Singapore, where public transport runs like clockwork and stunning contemporary artwork surrounds the city. Sip sumptuous cocktails in high-altitude bars after perusing the treasures of the gargantuan shopping malls. You will travel to Malacca via train, relaxing in a first class coach whilst marvelling at the scenic green plantations and jungles that you travel through. A tour of Malacca sees you explore ancient ruins, colonial buildings and curio shops. Kuala Lumpur is a completely different experience - an ultra-modern metropolis with a firm grasp on its multi-cultural heritage. A trip to the Petronas Towers and Kampung Baru displays both sides of this incredible city.

Singapore's climate is warm and humid all year round, and so there is no 'best' time to visit the city. Temperatures are generally always high, averaging around 24°C in the mornings and evenings and around 31°C in the daytime. The temperature dips, but only slightly, between November and January when the monsoon season arrives.

Kuala Lumpur has an equatorial climate defined by hot year round temperatures and abundant rainfall. The Titiwangsa Mountains in the west and the mountainous Indonesian island of Sumatra to the east offer protection to the city and influence its climate. The southwest monsoon rain hits between September and April but rainfall is not too high throughout the season. The best time to visit is between June and August, when the weather is driest.
