Your three day tour begins in a leisurely fashion, as you drive to Poring Hot Springs, taking in the picturesque mountain scenery on the way. Take a dip in the open-air sulphur baths, surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens, as you think about the journey that awaits you. A guided walk through the gorgeous Kinabalu National Park is perfect for nature lovers, as the are homes a number of endemic species. The real journey starts the day after, as you head to the Power Station, 1,829 metres above sea level, to begin the summit trail. After the first leg of the climb you will stay overnight in a resthouse, before rising at 02:00 to resume your climb by moonlight. You should reach the summit just in time for sunrise - a spectacular sight to behold.
