"Explore the wonders of Sumatra, defined by its rugged mountain ranges and lush, green valleys."

Sumatra is an island in western Indonesia, westernmost of the Sunda Islands. It is the largest island entirely in Indonesia and the sixth largest island in the world at approximately 470,000 km2, with a population of 45,000,000. The backbone of the ialand is the Barisan mountains chain, with the active volcano Mount Kerinci marking the highest point, located around the midpoint of the range. The volcanic activity of this region endows the area with fertile land and beautiful scenery, illustrated around the handsome Lake Toba. Your adventure-packed tour will reveal many of Sumatra's jewels, including the fascinating orangutan rehabilitation centre in Bohorok and the scenic mountain resort of Medan, renowned for its refreshing weather and abundance of flowers, vegetables and fruits.
