"Set amidst 15 acres of lush greenery, Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore is a place like no other."
Consistently voted as one of the best hotels in the world, this is where the legendary Asian hospitality of Shangri-La began more than 40 years ago. The story continues with you.
Arriving at Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore, you will leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind you. When you have taken in the myriad of shopping choices in Singapore, from the enchanting roadside antique shops and the quaint little noodle stalls to the glitzy new designer shopping malls along Orchard Road, the luxurious sanctuary of Shangri-La will embrace you as you step onto its grounds.
With luxurious guestrooms and suites in three distinctive wings, serviced apartments and residences in four-storey villas, this is where you will find your own Shangri-La. Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore's contemporary Tower Wing was first opened in 1971, featuring a vast lobby with impressive oval marble columns, a grand sweeping staircase and a floor-to-ceiling mural depicting the legendary mountains of author James Hilton's "Lost Horizon", from which the name "Shangri-La" became synonymous with "Paradise". Modern contemporary guestrooms are tastefully furnished in warm and natural colours with floor-to-ceiling windowed alcoves that faces either the city or the famed Shangri-La swimming pool. Set amongst 15 acres of lush tropical landscaping, Garden Wing is the newest urban resort in Singapore featuring 158 spacious guestrooms and suites. Following an extensive SGD 68 million renovation, Garden Wing offers a homely welcome with interiors inspired by nature. Soothing sounds from the cascading waterfall, graceful koi swimming in the ponds and verdant surroundings with child-friendly amenities complete the resort experience.
Luxuriate in the acres of wonderfully landscaped gardens, relax poolside or pamper yourself at Singapore's first CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La. As night falls, find the evening you desire with dinner at The Waterfall, The Line, Nadaman Japanese Restaurant or Shang Palace. Then, relax in the Lobby Court with musical entertainment or unwind in the quiet gardens.

A new dining concept is now available at Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore's newly renovated Garden Wing. The Waterfall offers healthy yet creative dishes inspired by Mediterranean flavours. Within the eclectic, colonial interiors lies a treasure trove of fresh seasonal produce. Embark on a wine journey across the Mediterranean shores or indulge in an extensive collection of sherries and grappas. For coffee lovers, baristas are trained to pull the perfect shot of Illy brew throughout the day. An exclusive private dining room fitted with a show kitchen is an ideal venue for cozy dinner parties, informal gatherings or culinary workshops.
Singapore's climate is warm and humid all year round, and so there is no 'best' time to visit the city. Temperatures are generally always high, averaging around 24°C in the mornings and evenings and around 31°C in the daytime. The temperature dips, but only slightly, between November and January when the monsoon season arrives.
